Hamas Will Not Stop !

GAZA CITY - The Islamic militant group Hamas will continue attacks against Israelis despite plans to withdraw settlements and military bases from the Gaza Strip, the top Hamas leader in Gaza said.

We do not trust the Israelis to withdraw from Gaza while they are speaking of controlling the sea

and the air. Until the occupation completely ends, our resistance will continue,A-Zahar said.

The only guarantee we can give so far is the continuation of the resistance, he said.

We are against any sort of commitment to any security steps on any side, A-Zahar told reporters in Gaza City. We are still in the resistance ... to free our land from the occupation.

However, A-Zahar later said Hamas leaders abroad were expected to begin talks with Egyptian

officials within several days.

Al-Zahar spoke before a meeting with Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia, who

made a rare trip to Gaza to meet with the heads of the various Palestinian security branches and members of Palestinian political and militant groups. It was al-Zahar's first public appearance since the funeral of Hamas' Gaza leader Abdel Aziz Rantisi, who was assassinated by Israel in April. Many Hamas leaders have gone into hiding since then, though it is considered unlikely Israel would target Hamas leaders during a meeting with Qureia.

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's cabinet approved a plan Sunday to evacuate settlements and soldiers from the volatile coastal strip by the end of 2005. Under the plan, Israel would maintain control of Gaza's coast, airspace and border with Egypt. Al-Zahar said that the continued Israeli presence was unacceptable. Hamas rejects the existence of Israel and hopes to replace it with an Islamic state. Al-Zahar also warned Arab leaders not to cooperate with U.S. President George Bush, and called on them all to reject his proposals for reform in the Arab world. Israel plans to bring a halt to the weapons smuggling by constructing a moat from the Mediterranean between Gaza and the Egyptian border.

Israels Love Affair with Big Dogs & The Tragedy !

Hes not a dangerous dog! said Avi Ganon, about the Amstaff. Avi and his family were care-taking for a friends dog for two weeks. A short time later, Avis four year old daughter, Avivit Ganon, was mauled to death when the Amstaff attacked her. Yediot Aharonot, the Hebrew daily reported that this is the first time in Israeli history that an attack dog has killed a human being. Israel, due to their supersensitivity to children, is going through what could only be called Front Page Hysteria over the incident. MK Gideon Saar has said he will now push for Knesset legislation to ban Amstaff, Rottweiler, and Pit Bull breeds of dogs in Israel.

Pot of Gold at End of the Rainbow ?

As a child who loved to play in the garden hose in the hot sun, the photograph is unimpressivei.e., even kids know that wherever the observer moves, so does the rainbow. But, nevertheless, the story is good. Umm el-fahms City Manager (largest Israeli Arab town in central Israel), Tawfiq Karaman says of Israels controversial security fence, God be blessed, the fence ended the parade of terrorists through our city and gave us an economic boom as well as increased security.

Terrorists from Jenin had laid claim to the town of Umm el-fahm as a launching pad for suicide terrorist operations, but no more. That possibility has dried up and now Arabs who once hauled millions of shekels of wares from Jenin now shop locally as the fence has cut them off from the hot-bed of terror.

Many Arab communities are reporting the same phenomena and report that their economy is growing rapidly. Karaman says the low-life terrorist types passing through his city didnt care whether they stole from Israelis or their own brother Arabs. They harassed school girls, stole cars, and even snatched laundry off lines.

The report from Karaman, and City Mayor Sheikh Abdel Rahman Mahajaneh has caused local

Islamic Movement leaders to denounce the two government officials as collaborators with the Israeli government. They decry their truth-telling about the fences benefits to their community as abandonment of their Arab brothers, but the truth, said Karaman is that the fence has significantly improved their lives. Officials are calling it the Umm el-Fahm effect and other Arab cities are experiencing the sameresults from the fence since Jenin has been hermetically sealed off from Israel.

More Double Standards

Israel to construct moat that will fill weapons

The nations of the world are poised and ready to pour billions of dollars into Gaza as soon as Israel pulls out. However, they will not give, even $1 to any of the thousands of Israeli families that are evacuating their homes in the 23 settlements of Gaza. Instead, the Israeli government is offering 300,000- shekel settlement to each family that leaves Gaza voluntarily. Providing the Knesset approves the disengagement from Gaza in a few months time, the planned evacuation is set for September of 2005, not December. The IDF will stay on to assure a complete evacuation.

PM Bomb Plot Foiled

A Palestinian man with proper security clearances was poised to bomb Prime Minister Ariel Sharons Jerusalem office this week. Hussam Nablusi was the driver of a mail truck employed by an Israeli company. He planned to hide the bomb among the printed matter he delivered and detonate it with a cell phone. Nablusis friendsvegetable vendors transported the explosive device for him and were also arrested.
